Bernie was born in Detroit, Michigan to Bernard and Elizabeth Tyll. He married Betty (Kasier) on October 6, 1955 in Detroit, Michigan. Bernie was an employee of Michigan Bell for 35 years retiring in 1989.
Bernie is survived by his wife Betty, daughter-in law Lori, granddaughter Melissa (Chris Paradiso), grandson Kyle (Macey), great grandchildren Lilliana and Michael Paradiso, brother Gerald Tyll , several great nieces and nephews
Bernie is preceded in death by son Michael, brothers Stephen,Raymond, Leonard, and Robert, parents Bernard & Elizabeth.
Bernie was an avid baseball fan especially the Detroit Tigers and held out hope every year since 1984 would be “their year”. He enjoyed traveling with Betty all over the country and Canada via motor homes or by boat. Most of all he loved having everyone gathered at his bar.
A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 11:00 AM at St. Agnes Catholic Church.
