At the tender age of 18 years, Ron moved to Vancouver Island and established his successful well drilling company – Kalicum Drilling – and maintained that position for 45 years. The company specialised in water well drilling, geothermal energy, water systems, and consulting. It was said, admiringly by some, that Ron “Wanted to sink Vancouver Island.”
Ron’s hobbies and passions included gardening, travelling, high-end high-quality food, hosting family and friends, and discovering creative solutions to complex problems.
Ron left an impression on all whom he met and is eternalized through the lessons and knowledge he shared.
