Louise Bush

October 8,1924 -May 10, 2022

Louise Bush, known as Lulu to family and friends, was born in Henderson, Texas, in 1924 and lived a full life of 96.5 years. She was raised and finished school in Henderson. She was working at the bus station in Henderson when she met Woodrow, her future husband. They married January 1, 1946. On March 23, 1947, their first child, Mike was born. And 5 years later their second son, David was born on May 19, 1951.

Louise loved to do oil paintings, work in the garden and tend to her flowers. In April 2010, her husband passed away and is buried at Corinth along with his grandparents, mother, dad and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. In 2012, she moved into a small house next to her son, Mike. She lived out the rest of her life in Liberty County, next door to Mike.

Louise was preceded in death by her parents, Roy H. Bush and Trudie Brazziel.

Louise, is survived by her sons, Mike and David. Granddaughters, Leigh Ann Slankard and Susan Winters

great granddaughter, Kaleigh and great grandsons, Michael and RJ and great, great grandson, Parker.

She was a Christian woman that loved the Lord.

The family will receive friends, Saturday, May 14, 2022, 9:00 AM until 10:00 AM, with a service to begin at 10:00 AM, Corinth Baptist Church, Timpson, Texas. Burial will follow at Corinth Cemetery.
