He was born September 1, 1927, in Nacogdoches County, Texas, to Felis and Laura Y'Barbo.
John was a caring soul who always put the needs of others before his own. He will be dearlymissed by all who knew him.
John was preceded in death by his parents.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife, Oleta Y'Barbo; daughter and son, Debbie and Mark; a grandson, James; great-granddaughter, Lenore; his brothers, Clifford and Dennis; and his sisters, Ruth and Helen.
Services are set for 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 27, 2015, at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church, located at 1620 County Road 353 near Chireno, Texas, with Monsignor James E. Young officiating. Interment will follow at Our Lady of Lourdes Cemetery.
