Danita Prosperie

Danita was a graduate of New Caney High School and later became an Administrative Assistant at the State Farm office of Mike Winthrop. Danita could be found in her favorite places; working in the yard, listening to music, or watching birds. She took pleasure in the simple things of life. She will be greatly missed by those who knew her.

Danita is survived by her husband, Jim Prosperie; sons, John Prosperie, and Casey Hickingbottom and his wife Trina; daughters, Amber Meister and her significant other Jackie, Autumn Ehrle and her husband Jake, Keri Higginbotham and husband Jeff, Jessie Massey and husband Bubba; sisters, Debbie Hazel and husband Gene, Dena Walters and husband Billy; brother David Patton and wife Dorene; parents, Bill and Gaynell Patton; and eleven grandchildren.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 9, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at Lower Melrose Cemetery with Don Chumley officiating.
