Mr. Lee passed away Sunday, Dec. 2, 2012, at his residence.
He was born Oct. 19, 1934, in Nat, Texas, as the son of Joe R. Lee and Mertice Hudman Lee. He married Nell Weatherly on Oct. 15, 1954, and they had 58 blessed years together. He worked 29 years for Central Freight Lines as a driver and manager before later working for Texas Farm Products as a driver and security officer.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Lee was preceded in death by three sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Nell Lee; son and daughter-in-law, Robbie and Emily Lee of Nacogdoches; grandchildren, Jennifer Vose and husband Raymond of Nacogdoches, Robert Lee and wife Rebecca of Jacksonville, and Michael Lee of Nacogdoches; a great-granddaughter, Ryleigh Michelle Vose of Nacogdoches; and two sisters, Hazel Vaughn and husband Gilford of Palestine and Jo Devaney of Burleson.
The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to Life Care Hospice and their caregivers, Dr. Kathryn Lewis, Dr. Aaron Polk Jr., and all of those who have supported him with prayers.
Honorary pallbearers: Michael Lee, Tommy Lee Self, and Erick Russell.
