Martha Ellen Peterson

It is with a heavy heart we announce the passing of Martha Peterson (Baker) on October 3, 2023. Martha leaves behind her beloved; Richard Peterson, Daughters; Traci Noteboom (Craig), and Tara DeMarr (Scott), Grandsons; Conner, Christian, and Austin, and a Great Granddaughter; Riley Joy. Martha also leaves behind three brothers: Lowell Baker, Jr. (Bonnie), Ronald Baker (Dolores), and David Baker Sr. (Tonya). And many Nieces and Nephews.

She is preceded in death by brother, Roger Baker (Lucille).

Martha’s love for horses was endless. She found pure joy in training, showing and just being around all types of horses. You could often see her riding a horse in a Scottville or Ludington parade. Martha gave her time to The Mason County Mounted Division, and was a member of the Mason County Saddle Club.

In lieu of flowers please make donations to a Hospice of your choice or The National Multiple Sclerosis Society. A Celebration of life will be scheduled in 2024.

Rest in Peace, Martha, you will forever be in our hearts.
