Janet Lynn Nelson, 76, passed away Saturday, November 19, 2022.
Janet was born August 8, 1946, the daughter of Robert and Doris Gay. In 1968 she married Lawrence Nelson and together they were married 20 years until his death in 1988. Janet enjoyed playing piano in her younger days. She was a kind, loving, caring individual who always treated others with dignity and respect.
She will be deeply missed.
Janet is survived by: her son, Darren Kane; brother, Gary (Kathy) Gay; sisters, Gene Smethwick, Jane “Lanny” Johnson, Nancy (Gary) Berdinski; several grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her parents; and brother-in-law,. Gerald Johnson.
In keeping with her wishes no public services will take place at this time. A small gathering at the graveside will take place in the spring.
