David Ray Lindsley

David Ray Lindsley, aged 61, passed away peacefully on November 17, 2023, in Muskegon, Michigan. He was born in Muskegon, Michigan to Ray and Evelyn Lindsley. David was a devoted Marine and served his country with pride and honor. He was also a proud member of the F.O.E Heights Eagles.

David's love to go to the Racetracks, NASCAR, and local dirt track racing showed his zest for life. He was always happy to help with any event. He was a die-hard fan of the Lions and the Michigan Wolverines, he passionately cheered for his favorite teams. David was known for his stubbornness, but he had a big heart, making him a truly unique and goofy individual.

David is survived by his son, David Lindsley, sister Rebecca Zacharias, brother Edward (Debra) Lindsley, stepdaughters Janet (Travis Suarez) Merritt, Christine (Robert) Taylor, Lisa (Scott) Torrenga, niece Heidi Barnhard, and grandchildren Morgan (Jedidiah) O'Brien, Matthew (Hannah Brower) Torrenga.

David was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Shirley Lindsley, and his parents, Evelyn Zacharias, and Ray Lindsley.

Cremation has taken place and a memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 11:00am with Military Honors at Thunderbird Race Track 350 W Riley, Muskegon, Michigan 49445
