Robert “Kyle” Davenport, age 54, of Murfreesboro, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, July 4, 2022, at NHC of Murfreesboro. Kyle was the son of the late Robert “Tubby” Davenport and Judy Barrett Dixon. He is survived by his wife Lisa Davenport; children Zachary Davenport (Victoria) and Emma Davenport. Kyle loved as his own children Elizabeth Gray (Aaron), Steven Losey, and Kathryn Losey. He was a doting Papaw to Jonah Parker and Boston Hatcher.
Kyle was employed by Geodis Logistics many years as the Facilities Maintenance Manager until medically forced to retire. He was a sports enthusiast, especially college football and the University of Tennessee Volunteers. He attended many Nashville Predators, Tennessee Titans, and Nashville Sounds games. On a sunny day, Kyle could be found riding on his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He loved to work in the yard on his flowers and plants. As much as Kyle enjoyed life, he took the most joy out of helping other people. He always said hello to everyone and never met a stranger. When asked how he was, Kyle was known for his saying “blessed more than I deserve.”
Services to celebrate Kyle will be at Two O’clock the afternoon of Monday, July 11, 2022 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Friends are cordially invited to visitation also on Monday from Twelve Noon until the service begins at Two O’clock.
