Judy Mae Smith Lynch, 71, of Smyrna, TN passed away on Monday June 12, 2017. She is survived by her daughters; Angie Gregg (Kendall) and Sherry Barrett (Greg); granddaughter Bethany Gregg. A Memorial Service to celebrate the life of Judy will be at Four o’clock the afternoon of Saturday June 17, 2017 at Walter Hill Baptist Church in Murfreesboro. Having never met a stranger, Judy will be remembered for her kindness and smile .Following a long career at Oak Ridge National Laboratories, Judy enjoyed travelling with her family and dedicating herself to her church during retirement. Judy is preceded in death by her husband of 37 years, James Lynch, her parents, Sam and Eula Branum Smith and three siblings – John Smith, Nell McBee and Jim Smith. As a reflection of Judy’s lifelong love of animals, in lieu of customary floral tributes, the family requests donations be made to a local animal charity of your choice.
