On Tuesday January 18, 2022, Howard Edwin “Eddie” Bowman, loving husband and father passed away peacefully at the age of 64 surrounded by his family.
He was born on December 21, 1957 in Harriman, TN to the late Howard Elroy Bowman and Virginia Bowman-Grady. He was preceded in death by his father, father-in-law, sister-in-law and maternal and paternal grandparents. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years Janet Bowman and daughters Brooke Bowman, Lindsey (Todd) Ekstrand; Mother Virginia Bowman-Grady; Mother-in-law Juanita Montgomery; Brothers Mike (Robin) Bowman, Greg (Kathy) Bowman and Glenn (Alice) Bowman, Brother in law Ronald (Rita) Montgomery, and several Aunts, Uncles, Nieces and Nephews.
Eddie graduated from Oakland High School and The Tennessee Law Enforcement Academy. He retired in 2010 from the Rutherford County Sheriff’s Department as a Lieutenant , where he diligently served his community for 32 years
Private graveside service to be held at Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
