Franklin Clay Campbell, age 77, of Lavergne, passed away on Friday, March 18, 2016 at his home. Mr. Campbell was born in Nashville and was the son of the late Delbert H. and Annie Edna Chilton Campbell. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith Campbell; daughter, Kellie Campbell; sons, Dale (Becky) Campbell and Chris (Angie) Campbell; sisters, Pauline Hrankowski, Daisy (John) Waldron, Jeanette McClanahan and Dianna Graham; brothers, Hillman Campbell, Harvey (Prissie) Campbell and Larry (Lyn) Campbell; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren. Services to celebrate Mr. Campbell will be at One o’clock the afternoon of Tuesday, March 22, 2016 at Roselawn Funeral Home with placement to follow in The Ascension Mausoleum at Roselawn Memorial Gardens in Murfreesboro. Mr. Campbell was preceded in death by a son, Frankie Campbell; and sisters, Marie Campbell, Mary Ellen French and Kathy Hargrove. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force and was a longtime employee of Comdata in Brentwood. In lieu of customary floral tributes, memorials may be made to The Nashville Zoo at Grassmere.
