Mrs. Emma Jean Haley, age 84, of Manchester, Tennessee, passed away on Sunday evening, February 16, 2020 at St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital. Mrs. Haley was the daughter of the late Charlie Hadden and Mary Bessie Thompson Duggin. She is survived by her husband of 66 years and 8 months, Mack Haley; sister, Hazel Tarpley of Murfreesboro; godchildren, Shawn Trail of Manchester and Tiffany Fetters of Murfreesboro; and numerous special nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by brothers, Charlie Duggin, Jr. and Richard Oliver Duggin. Services to celebrate Mrs. Haley will be at One O’clock the afternoon of Wednesday, February 19, 2020 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Dr. Brenton Cox officiating. Placement will follow in Roselawn Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Haley was a longtime member of First Baptist Church of Manchester and she and her husband loved to sing gospel music together. For several years, she was a bookkeeper for Middle Tennessee Electric Membership Corporation and Consolidated Utility District. Pallbearers will be Robert Summar, Bobby Francis, Ronnie Breece, Charles Smartt, Joe Mac Todd, Roger Pitman, Shawn Trail, Maurice Carter and Joel Trail. Family and friends will gather for visitation Wednesday morning from Eleven O’clock till the service begins at One O’clock.
