Alvin Estil "A.E." Lowe, Jr.

A.E. Lowe, Jr, age 84, of Murfreesboro, TN, passed away on Saturday evening, February 4, 2017, at his home following a two year illness. Mr. Lowe was the son of the late A.E. Lowe, Sr. and Ettie Vassar Lowe. He is survived by his wife of over 67 years, Doris Comer Lowe; sons, Danny Lowe of Murfreesboro and Mark (Paula) Lowe of Hendersonville; and granddaughters, Lindsey and Lacey Lowe. Services to celebrate Mr. Lowe will be at Eleven O’clock the morning of Saturday, February 11, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home with Donald Ketchum officiating. Mr. Lowe was a graduate of Christiana High School , longtime owner of Lowe Motor Company in Murfreesboro and attended World Outreach Church. Mr. Lowe grew up loving to play baseball and aspired to be a Major League Baseball player. He tried out for the Nashville Vols as a leftfielder, played in the Nashville City League and Murfreesboro City League Softball. Mr. Lowe was a “Diehard” Atlanta Braves fan.
