Robert Dawson Marsh

Bob Marsh passed away on October 31, at Westminster Village. He was born in Muncie on October 6, 1937, to Robert and Hilma Marsh. Bob grew up in Muncie and graduated from Muncie Central in 1955 and then served in the United States Army. He returned to Muncie and furthered his education by earning an accounting degree from Ball State University while working in the Trust Department at what was then American National Bank. Bob continued his career in banking, living and working for banks in Louisiana, North Carolina and Kentucky before retiring to Eddyville, KY. Bob was a member of Grace Episcopal Church. He is survived by his two children, Walker Marsh of Muncie, Jane Wargo of Owings, MD, and two grandchildren, Daly and Graham Wargo, and his sister, Linda Koser, of Belleair Bluffs FL, and three nephews, Gregg, Dan, and Rod Koser. Bob was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed sailing, camping and fishing. He was also active in a variety of competitive sports including handball, bicycling and golf throughout his life. Memorials may be directed to the Muncie YMCA. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
