Kaye Michelle Morris

Kaye Michelle (Sis) Morris Kaye Michelle Morris passed away on April 3, 2022 at 12:55pm. She was 54 years old. She passed comfortably at home with family at her side. Kaye was born on December 29, 1967 in Muncie, Indiana. The daughter of Robert and Pearl Morris, she graduated from Muncie Central High School and went to work for McDonalds for twenty-three years before retiring. Kaye is survived by her father, Robert F. Morris, mother, Pearlie A. Morris, and brother, Robert A. Morris (wife-Cindy). She is also survived by nieces Kristina Ehrhart (husband-Tom), Kimberly Faust (husband-Jon) and nephew David Morris (fiancé - Morgan Sands and children Corbin, Lily, and Marlee), and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Kaye enjoyed babysitting her nieces and nephew at their young age, buying gifts for them and at times keeping them in order. She then had two great nephews, Henry and Oliver Ehrhart who gave her much joy and laughter along with the other young members of her family. Kaye loved her family and the simple things in life: reading, sewing, working puzzles, music, shopping, bird watching, helping her Mom do yard work, and making desserts for her Dad and brother. Family preceding her in death are her grandparents, Carl and Dorothy Morris, and Allen Abrams and Luella (Harper) Abrams, as well as her uncles, Carl (Bud) Morris, Jack Morris, Brodrick Morris, James Abrams, John Henry Abrams and aunts, Eva Markin, Berniece Morris, in addition to several cousins. Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Elm Ridge Funeral Home and Memorial Park in Muncie, Indiana. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday, April 8, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with the Pastor Glen Greiner of Union Chapel Ministries officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. Friday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home. Our family extends a special thank you to all of the wonderful doctors and nurses at I.U. Health Hospital in Indianapolis, Muncie, and I.U. Hospice, and many others that were always there for Kaye and her family in a caring and supporting role. Thank you so much! You are appreciated!
