Jeffrey Leon Cole

Jeffrey Leon Cole, 51, Muncie, passed away Thursday evening, September 8, 2022 at I U Health Ball Memorial Hospital. He was born Wednesday, August 25, 1971, in Muncie, the son of Jack Cole and Brenda Swift-Haskins. Jeff loved his children with all his heart. He enjoyed riding his Harley, going fishing, and he was active in the Serenity Club. His spiritual relationship is what made him the man he was. Jeff worked at Diamond Plastics. Survivors include his dad, Jack Cole; children, Jeffrey Cole, Lucian Cole, Austin Hatten, and Mason Hatten; brother, Jackson (wife, Misty) Cole; sister, Jessica McColley; his significant other, Crystal Carnes; several cousins including Tammy Cole, and Jimmy Hannis, and many “Swift” cousins; several nieces and nephews including Jayveri Carnes, Samantha Cole, Cassidy Cole, and Ethan Cole; his “spiritual leader” Todd Stone; and his best friends, Ashley Smith, and Brittany Hall. He was preceded in death by his mom, Brenda Swift-Haskins; his “bonus mom” Fredricka Cole; and a nephew, Christian Orebaugh. Services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 West Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, Indiana 47304 with Pastor Todd Stone officiating. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park. Family and friends may call from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.
