Gloria J. Hines

Gloria was a Muncie Central graduate. She worked at Muncie Novelty for 15 years and then retired from L J Stone. She spent her days doting after her family. Especially her husband, son, grandchildren and great-grandson, Noah. Gloria had a love for the beach, especially Panama City. She also loved Great Smoky Mountains of Tennessee. She loved gardening and spending time outside with her flowers and listening to the birds. You could always find her fur baby River at her side. Gloria loved her family with all her heart.

She is survived by her loving husband, Gary; her son, Steve “Bud” Rose (Carry); her two granddaughters, Kyley Lees (Skyler) and Jessica Rose; her great-grandson, Noah Lees. Her brother, Bob Morrison (Lou); sister, Brenda Crehan (Tom). She was a loving Aunt to her nieces and nephews, Bobby Morrison (Paula), Mike Morrison (Heather), Heather Sayre (Drew), and Brett Crehan. Great-nephews, Colton Hartley (Ravyn), Levi Morrison, Garret Morrison; and great-niece, Brittany Kiger. She had many special friends. She touched the lives of everyone she met. She will be greatly missed.

She is preceded in death by her brother, Robert Allen Morrison; her parents Robert and Vada Morrison; and niece Christy Hartley.

Family and friends may call from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, and from 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 12 p.m. on Wednesday, February 16, 2022 at Elm Ridge Funeral Home, 4600 W. Kilgore Avenue, Muncie, IN 47304. Burial will follow in Elm Ridge Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations to be made to Muncie A.R.F where she rescued her baby boy River.
