Lillian Laks was my 2nd grade teacher at P.S. 106, and we kept in touch all these years. My mother became good friends with Lillian. Lillian was a warm, caring person and will be remembered with fondness.

I met Lillian a long time ago, at PS 106 in the Bronx.  We were both teachers there.  She was a caring and understanding teacher as well as a loving and very dear, dear friend to me.  She was a friend that made me laugh and smile but also someone who I could discuss a personal problem with and she always gave me very good advice.  After we both retired, we remained good friends and spoke regularly via phone.  I will miss my very dear, dear friend.

Lillian and I met at PS 106 Bx, in 1977.
Lillian was a devoted and caring teacher with extraordinary patience and skill. These were qualities she displayed in her personal life as well with her parents and dear sister.
.
As a friend , she was loyal  and supportive of me at a very difficult time in my life. Lillian will always hold a special place in my heart.
