Myrtle Elizabeth "Midge" Snyder Jeffrey

Myrtle Elizabeth "Midge" Snyder Jeffrey, 93, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ, and her husband, John Edwin Jeffrey on July 2, 2024 at the Evergreen Personal Care Home in Waynesburg, PA. She was born March 10, 1931 to Ernest and Lovie Snyder. Midge was a devoted housewife and mother who loved to cook, take care of her family, work on the family farm and in her spare time, write poetry. She was a dedicated and devout Christian who attended the Mount Morris Gospel Tabernacle and the Pleasant Valley Methodist Church. Surviving are 5 Sons: David Ernest (Barbara) Jeffrey of Grayson, GA, John Leroy (Nancy) Jeffrey and Dwight William (Sharon) Jeffrey both of Morgantown, WV, Scott Edwin (Norma) Jeffrey of Davistown, PA and Matthew Ray (Tracy) Jeffrey of Morgantown, WV, 1 Daughter: Tammy JoAnn (Fred) Golden of Morgantown, WV, 2 Brothers: Bob and David Snyder, 10 Grandchildren, 11 Great-Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great-Granddaughter due to be born in September. In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 1 Granddaughter: Heather Lauray Jeffrey Paxton and 6 Brothers: Sam, Glenn, Jim, Bud, Junior and Dale Snyder, 2 Sisters: Connie Rohanna and Thelma Marie Halle. Friends will be received from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Monday, July 8, 2024 in the Milliken and Throckmorton Funeral Home, Inc. 324 Mt. Morris Rd., P.O.Box 478, Mount Morris, PA 15349 with her service being held at 11:00 AM with her son, Rev. Dr. David Jeffrey officiating.
