Mildred Kolar Pilat, 91, of Moulton, Texas passed away on November 25, 2021. She was born on March 22, 1930 in Dickinson, Texas. Mildred and her husband, Willie Pilat, owned the Pilat Supermarket in Moulton, Texas for 59 years.
Mildred is survived by her husband, Willie of Moulton, Texas; daughter Marjorie Firasek of Rosenberg, Texas; and son Calvin Pilat and wife Karen of Moulton, Texas. Mildred is also survived by her five grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents Frank and Theresa Jobb Kolar; daughter Mary Patek; son-in-law Ervin Patek; grandson Matthew Patek: son-in-law Benjamin Firasek; brothers Charlie Kolar and Frank Kolar.
A visitation for Mildred will be from 4:00 – 8:00 PM on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at Smith Funeral Home in Moulton, Texas. A rosary will be recited on Wednesday, December 1, 2021 at 9:30 AM at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Moulton, Texas with a funeral mass following at 10:00 AM. Burial will be in the St. Joseph’s Catholic Cemetery in Moulton, Texas.
