Mary "Trudy" Hancock Murray Thompson

Trudy loved her family. She was fun loving and always liked to kid around.

Trudy enjoyed cooking, sewing and gardening. She was a graduate of Sowela Tech Nursing School. She worked at Lake Charles Memorial Hospital and Resthaven Nursing Home as an LPN.

Survivors include her sons, Jonathan Todd Murray, Chad Murray, Ron Murray and wife, Erika and Benjie Murray all of Moss Bluff; brothers, Rodrigue Allen Hancock and wife, Cathy of Moss Bluff, Robert Lewis Hancock and wife, Toni of Mexico, Ray Blackshear and wife, Trudy of Moss Bluff and Mark Anthony Hancock and wife, Geraldine of Baytown, TX; sisters, Alice Jean Moon and husband, Donald of Moss Bluff and Cathy Pearl Lanier and husband, David of Gillis; 7 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Everette and Doris Hancock; her first husband, Ray Murray; and her second husband, Bobby Thompson; and brother, Everette Wayne Hancock, Jr.

Visitation will be from 5pm-9pm on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Bluff and will resume on Wednesday from 8am until service time.
