Harold L. Comeaux

As a life long resident of Southwest Louisiana and avid outdoorsman, he enjoyed the fruits nature had to offer. He loved fishing so much he enjoyed 30 years of employment with The Port of Lake Charles as a longshoreman, a position that kept him close to the fresh salty air. He also enjoyed hunting and spending time with his family and friends; cooking for large gatherings brought him much joy; as it always was paired with good people and conversation.

Those left to cherish his memories are, his three sons; Scott Comeaux of Moss Bluff, LA, Wade Comeaux and wife Kristi Of Bigsur, Cal., and Kirk Comeaux and wife Shera of Manvel, TX. Seven grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Two brothers; Lee Ray Comeaux of Lake Charles, LA, and Daniel Comeaux of Lake Charles, LA. Two sisters; Earline Granger of Westlake, LA, and Sherlene Zito of Westlake, LA.

Those greeting Harold in Heaven are, His son Dwayne Comeaux, and his two brothers John C. Comeaux, and Derrell Comeaux.

The family will welcome friends Tuesday, October 27 at Hixson Funeral Home of Moss Buff starting at 4pm till 6pm with a rosary led by Deacon Leo beginning at 5pm. Visitation will resume the following day October 28 at 9am till time of service. Funeral Services will be led by Father Andy DeRoun beginning at 10am, following burial at Westlake Memorial Park Cemetery.
