Rhonda Kay Stubblefield, also known as Mimi was born Rhonda Kay Jefferson on December 29, 1961, in Morristown, Tennessee, passed away on October 2, 2023, at the age of 61 in Morristown, Tennessee. She was a loving, caring, and devoted daughter, mother, and grandmother. Rhonda cherished her family above all else and worked tirelessly throughout her life. She was especially excited about the upcoming arrival of her first great-grandson Atticus Floyd.
Rhonda is survived by her mother, Carolyn Hochstadt, her son Travis Floyd (April), her daughters Arika Stephens (TJ) and Jessica Floyd, and her grandchildren Taylor Floyd (Tori), Amarie Caffey, Amaya Stephens, Nevaeh Floyd, Tarelton Stephens, Tamaraleigh Stephens, King Stephens, and Kadashia Stephens. She will also be fondly remembered by her brother Scott Jefferson (Darlene) and her special nieces and nephews Samantha Pierce, Jonathan Jefferson, Cynthia Hytower, Jacory, Wesley, and Akkis. Rhonda was preceded in death by her father Jack Jefferson and her sister Sharon Adams.
Rhonda's greatest joy in life was spending time with her grandchildren. She adored them more than anything and treasured every moment they shared together. She was very excited to finally have a great grandchild on the way.
Services to honor and remember Rhonda will be held at the Stubblefield Funeral Home/Hamblen Memory Gardens in Russellville, Tennessee. Friends and family are invited to pay their respects on Monday, October 9, 2023, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. A funeral service will follow at 7:00 PM on the same day. The graveside service will take place on Tuesday, October 10, 2023 at Hamblen Memory Garden in the Apostles Garden.
The compassionate staff at Stubblefield Funeral Home/Hamblen Memory Gardens will be assisting the family with the arrangements.
