Mary Kathern (Katie) Noe Carmon, age 92 of Bean Station, went to her eternal home on July 17, 2024. The third child of Walter and Virgie Long Noe. Katie worked alongside her late husband, Bruce Carmon, to own and manage German Creek Grocery through its entirety then retired to managing her home. A beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She is well known to family and friends as a prayer warrior, thus July 17, 2024 a last request was answered, "I want to see Jesus". She came to faith in Jesus at the age of 16 at Mary's Chapel Church. Confirming her decision as an adult, faithfully serving her Lord through any opportunity made available to her. This occurred often through her home church of Riverview Baptist in Bean Station. The church family she greatly loved.
Preceded in death by her husband, Bruce Carmon; grandsons, Landon and Conley Jennings; sister Mildred (Henry) Bibbins and brothers Lloyd (Dorene) Noe and Bill (Sandy) Noe.
Survived by children Gary (Lee) Carmon, Judy (Jack) May, and Vonda (Jeff) Jennings. Special loved children David L. Noe, Sabrina Shrader, and Kelsey Brantley. Brother Harold (Phyllis) Noe. Grandchildren Angelica (Rob) Quiggle, Lindsey (Seth) Horn, Ethan (Jessica) Jennings, Kathryn (Hunter) Bearden. Great grandchildren Madison and Allison Jennings. Several nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends. Close friends Polly Long and Linda Carpenter. Special thanks to family and friends that helped in many ways during this time and to Smokey Mountain Hospice.
The family will receive friends at Stubblefield Funeral Home on Thursday, July 18, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm with a service to immediately follow at 7:00pm with Rev. Greg Ellison officiating.
Interment will be at Mary's Chapel Church Cemetery in Bean Station. Friends and family will gather on Friday, July 19th, 2024 at 10:00am.
