Marjorie Margaret Moyers

Marjorie Holt Moyers, “3-foot Mamaw”, age 84, of Rutledge formerly of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 8, 2016 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She cared for and loved everyone and will be missed by all who knew her. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Mack Moyers; parents, Grover and Gency Holt; sisters, Cecil Cook, Lennie Shockley, Nan Simmons, Mae Moyers, Delta Gilbert and Virgie Holt; and brothers, Jay Holt and Nelson Holt. Survivors include her daughter, Kaye (Bill) Churchwell; son, Mike (Lisa) Moyers; grandchildren, Angela (Chris) Owens, Ashley (Justin) Miller, Joseph (Julie) Moyers, Jesse de Armond; great-grandchildren, Carlie Owens, Phoenix Moyers, Cannon Miller, Josh Wrenn; sisters, Clora Wright, Shirley Clark; several nieces and nephews; and a host of family and friends. The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2016 from 5 – 7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 p.m. with Tony Moyers officiating. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens on Sunday at 1:45 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. graveside service. Services are under the direction of Stubblefield Funeral Home.
