JAMES WESLEY “JAMIE” TRENT, age 57 of Sneedville, went to be with the Lord on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Hawkins County Memorial Hospital. He served in the Naval Reserve for 20 years. He was a member of Glen Burnie Missionary Baptist Church in Glen Burnie, MD. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lynia Trent and his mother, Virginia Trent. He is survived by his father, Frank Ray Trent; sisters and brothers, Patricia Dean (John) Kent, Kenneth Ray (Kathy) Trent, Clifton Edward (Sandy) Trent, Carson Wayne (Pamela) Trent, Brenda Carol (Pete) Hill and Timothy Wayne (Sherrie) Trent; several nieces, nephews and a host of friends. Family and friends will gather at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, May 3, 2012 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home for a 2:00 p.m. Memorial Service with the Rev. Tommy Wayne Wallen officiating.
