James “Jim” A. McDonald, age 87, of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 7, 2022. He was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Jim was an avid outdoorsman, who loved fishing, hunting and family. He retired from BASF and was a member of First United Methodist Church of Bulls Gap. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Katherine Teague.
Survivors include his wife of 48 years, Judy McDonald; son, Leslie (Kay) McDonald; daughter, Kim (Anthony) Watson; grandchildren, Shae, Mason and Angela; sister, Lucille Musser; and several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 15, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 p.m. at First United Methodist Church of Bulls Gap. A celebration of life will follow at 3:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to the First United Methodist Church of Bulls Gap.
