Elsie Edna Roark

Elsie Roark, age 97, of Bulls Gap, passed away on Wednesday, August 05, 2015 at the Heritage Center. She was a loving lady with a beautiful smile. We were so blessed to have had her as our mom. She was the oldest member of Bulls Gap Baptist Church and a member of Bulls Gap O. E. S. She was a hairdresser for 50 years and loved every minute of it. She is preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Ramsey and Lottie Ramsey Drake; first husband, Truman Park; second husband, Ed Scruggs; third husband, Earl Roark; and brothers and sisters-in-law, J. C. (Ruth) Ramsey, Fate (Evelyn) Ramsey. She is survived by her children, Judy (Jim) Riley, David Park, Karen (Mike) Ladd; five grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; and special friends, Fred (Phyllis) Terry and Mary Horner Smith. Family and friends will meet at Pilot Knob Cemetery on Saturday, August 8, 2015 at 10:45 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Rev. John Arnott and Rev. Brad Harbin will officiate. The family will receive friends on Friday evening from 5 – 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown.
