Edith "Fuzz" Ruth Murphy

Edith Ruth “Fuzz” Murphy, age 83, of Russellville, went to be with the Lord on Saturday, February 09, 2013 at the Heritage Center. She was a member of Midtown Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Murphy; son, Lee Roy Murphy; father, Dave Potter, Sr.; mother, Elizabeth Potter; sisters, Kat, Bett, Martha, and Mary; and brothers, George, John, Ott, Sammy, and Fred “Goo”.

Survivors include her sons, David (Gloria) Murphy, Ben (Val) Murphy, Jim (Barb) Murphy; daughter-in-law, Kathy Murphy; grandchildren, Sherry Murphy, Laura Murphy, Jason (Elizabeth) Murphy, Chelsea (Randall) Blackwell; great-grandchildren, Shane Murphy, BreAna Blair, Ally Blackwell, and Jayden Murphy; brother, Jack (Viola) Potter of Newport; and a host of nieces and nephews, with special niece, Sharon Bales.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 11, 2013 at 8:00 in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Rev. Michael Potter will officiate. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to Cedar Creek Cemetery for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Monday from 6 – 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
