Lukie, the brother, the father, the grandfather, the cop, and most importantly....the self proclaimed Man of Steel had loved spending time outdoors, hunting, riding motorbikes, attempting to cook, and generally clowning around with his family and friends. His passing has left a hole no one can fill but his memory will be forever in the hearts of those who knew him best.
Lukie leaves to cherish his unique memory his children, Erick Billiot of Morgan City, Luke Billiot and his fiance, Amanda Freeman, of New Orleans, and Alicia Billiot of Morgan City; nine siblings, Ernest Billiot and wife, Genevia, Preston Billiot, Sydney Billiot and wife, Brenda, Anna Daigle and husband, Stanley Jr., Nathalie "Nat" DeHart and husband, Marty, Lillian Torres and husband, Ruben, Medina Billiot and husband, Richard, and Betty Young and husband, Willie; and eight grandchildren, Laikynn Rose, Cambrenn, Kollin, Madelyn, Gavin, Haley, Nicholas Jr., and Cassidy.
He was preceded in death by his father, Dennis P. Billiot; his mother, Lucille A. Billiot; three brothers, Dennis A. Billiot, Joe Billiot, and Eugene Billiot; two sisters, Daisy Mae Billiot and Hope Billiot; and grandson, Erick "Lil E." James Billiot Jr.
The family requests that memorial visitation be observed on Tuesday, March 28, 2017 at Hargrave Funeral Home from 12noon until 2pm when the celebration of Lukies life will begin. Dimissal will follow the services.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Hargrave Funeral Home to alleviate the cost of funeral expenses. Arrangements under the direction of Hargrave Funeral Home, Morgan City, LA.
