Mary E. Gilbert, formerly of Croton-on-Hudson, NY and currently of Buchanan, NY passed away on Wednesday, November 2, 2022 at the age of 97. Mary was born to Morris and Mary Hunt on July 23, 1925 in Croton-on-Hudson, NY. Mary married Edward Gilbert in August of 1967. They were married for 30 years before Edward’s passing in 2002. She was a cook at the Kwickmart Deli in Croton for years.
Mary is survived by her loving daughter Barbara Braddick and her cherished nieces Barbara Lippert and Colleen Lippert.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 7, 2022 from 4-8PM at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY 10548. A Funeral Service was celebrated 10AM on Tuesday, November 8th also at Edward F. Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY with burial at Bethel Cemetery, Croton-on-Hudson, NY.
