Linda S. Standley

Linda S. Standley, a resident of Ossining, NY, passed away on November 4, 2024. She was 74 years old. Linda was born on July 30, 1950, in Tarrytown, NY, to the late Julius Joseph Vieira and Assuncao Carreira. Before her retirement, Linda owned and operated her business, Vieiras Service Station, a Mobil gas Station in Tarrytown, NY. Linda spent many years traveling the country competing in skeet shooting, holding many titles, and golfing with her husband Tony and closest friends. Once Linda’s grandchildren were born, she spent the weekends with them in her vacation home in Pennsylvania, enjoying fishing, quad-riding, and exploring the woods. Linda was a jokester, had a great laugh, loved gag gifts, and enjoyed watching TV, crossword puzzles, and playing Nintendo 64 while riding her exercise bike. Linda was awarded the #1 spot for Candy Crush and could always be seen wearing a funny T-shirt. Linda brought a smile to anyone who came in contact with her.

Linda is survived by Daughter Lauren Mansfield (Spouse Brad), 4 Grandchildren Philip Profeta, Anthony Profeta, Adriana Profeta, and Kevin Mansfield, Sister Diane Schryer (Spouse Bill), and Niece Kim Kazemi and nephew Jason Schryer.

She was predeceased by her husband Anthony G. Standley.

Visitation is scheduled for Saturday, November 9th from 5-9pm at Edward F Carter Funeral Home, 170 Kings Ferry Road, Montrose, NY 10548. Interment will be private.
