Jack was born a true and loyal New Yorker in Manhattan on August 2nd 1927. Jack married the love of his life Margaret "Peggy" Cooke on August 12th 1950. Jack loved to share his secret recipe for a happy, loving and everlasting marriage... "to always get the last word in...." Being, “Yes dear." Together they raised their children Marilyn, Danny, and Deborah. He served as a member of the United States Navy becoming a World War II veteran while stationed on the USS Leyte and the USS Randolf. He later attended St. Peter's college in New Jersey, earning a degree in history, followed by a long career in the NYPD (26 years). While Jack always found great joy in supporting the NY Rangers, Giants, and Yankees - he was the ultimate fan to his five grandsons Ryan, Patrick, Sean, Christopher, and Kevin, rarely missing any of their sporting events. Jack's contagious smile and "life of the party" presence will be greatly missed.
