Edwina "Nina" Lynt

Peekskill, NY – Edwina (Nina) Lynt, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by her children on July 22, 2020 after a courageous battle with cancer. Born on December 12, 1935 in Peekskill, NY. Nina is preceded in death by her parents Edward Desmarais and Lily Landry as well as her beloved husband Robert Lynt. She is survived by her adoring children, Kathy Bianco Horton (Art), Susan Fiorini (Joe), Linda Rowinski (Steven) and Robert Lynt (Karen); her five cherished grandchildren, Bill Bianco, Krista Bianco Benjamin (Omarro), Michael Bianco (Dianna), Anthony Fiorini (Kelley) and Nicole Fiorini Coleman (Luke) and her great grandchildren Tyler Bianco, Zac Bianco, Anthony Fiorini, Myla Fiorini, Dawson Coleman and Gianna Benjamin.

Nina was a devoted and loving wife, mother, sister and friend. In addition to spending time with her family and friends, she also enjoyed traveling in her RV with her late husband, the Seniors Club of Poughkeepsie, NY and her favorite food, ice cream. Her kindness, thoughtfulness and positive outlook will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her resilient personality, smile and laughter will never be forgotten.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to The Kaplan Family Hospice Residence along with her many wonderful friends for all their compassion and support. Her family invites all of her friends and loved ones to join for visitation on Friday, July 24, 2020 from 7pm-9pm at the EDWARD F. CARTER FUNERAL HOME, 170 Kings Ferry Rd., Montrose, NY. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor, NY. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital www.stjude.org.
