In loving memory of Petrina Wai Chu Lee

October 2 1949 - August 11 2024.

With deep sorrow, we announce the passing of Petrina Wai Chu Lee, who was called home to the Lord on August 11 2024. She was born on October 2 1949 in Hong Kong and lived a life of faith and love until her passing at the age of 74.

Petrina was a devoted Catholic, known for her unwavering faith, love for family, and commitment to serving others. She was the softest, most generous, most loving and caring person. She was an active member of the Chinese Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, and her life was a testament to the values of kindness, charity, and humility.

She is survived by her husband Peter Shik Wing Chan, her son Ignatius (Minnie), her grandchildren (Anselm, Esther, Ephrem), her son-in-law Kevin, and other beloved family and friends, who find solace in the belief that she is now in the presence of God.

Visitations will be held on Thursday 9am at the Chinese Catholic Church of the Holy Spirit, 205 Rue De la Gauchetière O, Montréal, QC H2Z 1C5.

A Funeral mass will follow at 10am at the same location. We will depart the church for the cremation at Cimetière Notre-Dame-des-Neiges (4601 Chem. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7).

A reception lunch will follow at 1pm at Restaurant Ruby Rouge (1008 Clark, Montreal, QC H2Z 1J9).

Eternal rest grant unto her, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon her. May she rest in peace.
