On January 23, 2019 Mary passed away suddenly but peacefully in the Emergency Department of the Royal Victoria Hospital at the age of 93 years. Beloved wife of 65 years to the late Melville Taylor who recently passed away on May 16, 2018. Mary loved to dance and was a performer in the troop shows during WWII and then became a ballet teacher at the Mary Beetle's Dance School. Loving mother of Calvin (Barbara), Melarie (Nick), Donald (Kim), Glen (Brenda). Loving foster-mother to Robert ( Sue, Moesha, Kieran) and Dale. Cherished grandmother to Allison, Kristin, Ryan, Peter, Jayson and Kyle.
Predeceased by her brother Gage and her sisters Elizabeth (Ditty), Evelyn and Nancy. She also leaves behind many cousins, nieces and nephews along with family and friends. Many thanks to the ED staff at the Royal Victoria Hospital for their care and compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice as Mary supported many charities over the years. Visitation will take place at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White, 5610 Sherbrooke St. West, Montreal on Wednesday January 30, 2019 from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held on Thursday January 31, 2019 at the Montreal West United Church situated at 88 Ballantyne North in Montreal-West at 11 a.m. with a reception following the service.
