Robert Jeffrey McGhee passed away peacefully on April 1, 2022. He was born in Hamilton, Ohio on Feb, 3, 1950 to Ben H. McGhee and Katherine L. Eubanks McGhee and moved to the Montgomery area in 1958. Robert worked in the printing industry for many years and enjoyed reading, needlework and watching old movies. Robert was a graduate of Robert E. Lee High School and the University of Montevallo. He was preceded in death by his parents Ben H. McGhee Jr and Katherine L. Eubanks McGhee and grandparents, Thomas Eubanks, Anna Marie Mauler Eubanks; Ben H McGhee Sr, Audie Rebecca Wyatt McGhee.
He is survived by his sister Rebecca (John Grey) Tatum; a brother Timothy McGhee; nieces Amanda (Wade) Collier of Midland, Ga; Jennifer ( James) Monk or Prattville, Al. two grandnieces and two grandnephews Sydney Collier, Tristan ( Amanda) Collier of Midland, Ga , McKenzie Monk, Braxton Monk both of Prattville, Al; one great grandniece and one great grandnephew.
Pallbearers are John Tatum, Wade Collier, Tristan Collier, James Monk, Braxton Monk and Caleb Frazier
A family and friends visitation for Robert will be held Friday, April 8, 2022 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM with A Celebration of Life Chapel Service to follow on Friday, April 8, 2022 at 10:00 AM at White Chapel - Greenwood. A Graveside Service immediately following in Greenwood Serenity Gardens.
