Paul Edward Jordan

Paul Edward Jordan, age 85, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Thursday, January 20, 2022. Paul was born January 9, 1937 to Arthur Lee Jordan and Flarice Odessa Welch Jordan. He was preceded in death by his parents; his son, Jeff Michael Jordan; his brother, Charles Windon Jordan; his brother in law, John Melton; and his sister in law, Patricia Jordan.

Mr. Jordan is survived by his loving wife, Barbara Talley Jordan; his daughters, Angela Leeman (Kevin) and Pamela Roberts (Victor); his grandchildren Christopher McCormick (Brandi), Lauren McCormick, Jeff Jordan II, and Savannah Jordan; as well as his great grandchildren Victoria, Katelin, and Jordan McCormick and Raelyn Chavis; and his siblings George Wayne Jordan, Dorothy Melton and Lyn Nobles (William).

An Alabama fan, Paul loved sports- even volunteer coaching baseball and football. He enjoyed pitching and was known as an athlete. He was also known as a follower of Christ, welcoming people into his church, studying his bible and caring about all who came in contact with him. In his later years, he enjoyed watching westerns and wearing his favorite boots, but he enjoyed his grandchildren most of all. The family would like to thank Carolyn Flynn for her compassionate care and friendship over the last three years for Paul.

Mr. Jordan will lie in state Wednesday, January 26, 2022 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. An immediate family service will occur Thursday, January 27, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel followed by a service in Greenwood Cemetery.
