Patricia Anne Lee

Patricia Hall Lee went home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Saturday, February 20, 2021 at the age of 80. She leaves behind her three children Cathy Cook (Mark), Edward “Bubba” Lee (Diane), Lila O’ Ferrell (Dean).

Her grandchildren, Dean O’ Ferrell III, Daniel O’ Ferrell (Ashley), Amanda Downing (Chad), Cole Cook (Jessi), Jacob Lee (Lesley), Ethan Ashe (Mary Tyler). Great-Grandchildren Emalynn Cook, Cavanaugh Cook, Grayson Ashe, Ella Kate Ashe, Kaylee Ashe, Campbell Spivey, Sidney Spivey, Lily Lee, Ben Lee, Lucy Lee, Ward O’ Ferrell, Sellers O’ Ferrell, Webb O’ Ferrell, Brooks Downing, Reece Downing, Nixon Williams and Edy Williams.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Durden Lee and her granddaughter, the late Joy Lee Ashe (Ethan).

Pat was raised by her Grandparents, Frank and Harriet Vaughn, on Greenville Street one block from Lee High School. She married her husband Durden Lee when she was 15 and he was 18. She had 3 children by the age of 19, but still graduated from Huntingdon College with a degree in English. She taught in the Montgomery Public School System for over 30 years, at Hooper Academy for 10 years and was a beloved teacher.

Lovingly called Nana by her grandchildren, she was very generous to everyone she met and spent her life giving to others. A Celebration of Her Life will be Saturday, February 27, 2021 at Dalraida Baptist Church, 3838 Wares Ferry Road, Montgomery, AL. 36109. Visitation 10:00 AM and service 11:00 AM.
