Michael Hardin Meadows

Mr. Michael H. Meadows "Hammer" passed away on Tuesday, February 12, 2019 at his residence. He is preceded by his parents: Samuel Meadows and Betty Jeanne Hardin Meadows, a son; Scott Meadows and a brother; Charles Benjamin Meadows. He is survived by his spouse: Nancy D. Meadows; and his daughter: M. Leigh Deaton (Brian); and two grandchildren: Autumn Humphries and Scott Humphries. A public visitation will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2019 from 1:00PM-2:00PM in the chapel of White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home located at 909 Lincoln Rd. Montgomery, AL. 36109 with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00PM. A committal service with military honors will follow the Celebration of Life Service in Greenwood Cemetery. Pastor Kerry Bonaparte will be officiating. Mr. Meadows loved to play golf, hunt and fish. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather and loved Auburn sports. He was a veteran of the United States Marine Corp where he served in Vietnam earning a Combat Action Ribbon. He was also a member of the Grandview Pines Baptist Church.
