Michael David Holman Jr.

David was preceded in death by his father Michael David Holman Sr. He leaves behind his mother, Janice Holman Malone, his two sisters Rita Harp (Dave) and Michelle Goodin (Theo), and brother Robert Mark Holman (Nicole Raybon). Also left behind are nephew Cody Holman, nieces Madison Holman, McKenzie Holman, Trinity Goodin and Savannah Goodin, great nephews Kaden Britt and Kannon Romanick, and many aunts, uncles and cousins. He loved them all greatly.

A graduate of Jefferson Davis High School class of 1996, David was an employee of Asphalt Contractors for 22 years and a diehard Alabama football fan. A mischievous prankster, David enjoyed movies, especially Stars Wars and romantic comedies, TV comedies, fishing at the beach, writing and telling stories, and politics, but his greatest love was for his family. The highlight of any day was being able to spend time with his nieces and nephew. David leaves a big hole in the hearts of his family, but no doubt about how much he loved them.

Visitation and services will be held at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home. Visitation will be Sunday evening February 13, 2022 from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. and services will be held Monday, February 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. Pallbearers will be Bo Brunson, Daniel Brunson, Frankie Brunson, Randy Holman, Jr., Chris Crutchfield, and Clayton Smith. Honorary pallbearer will be Ricky Holman.
