Virginia Lynn Carmichael, age 86, a longtime resident of Montgomery, Al, died April 29th, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband, Rex; parents, Howard and Mary Lynn, brother, James. She is survived by sons, Steve (Elizabeth), Bobby (Angela), David (Debra), and Mark (Holly), grandchildren, Sarah (Chase) Passmore; Rachel (Jacob) Garrett; Matthew, Lauren, Tiffany, and Tyler Carmichael; six great-grandchildren. She is also survived by sisters Dale (John) Cook, Catherine (Richard) Roth, brothers Freddie and Phil (Becky) Lynn, and many nieces and nephews. Virginia retired from Union Bank & Trust Co. after 32 years of service, and then worked eight years as a church secretary. Graveside service will be for family only. Memorials may be made to Eastern Hills Baptist Church or the Montgomery Humane Society.
