She spent most of her life in Montgomery. She entered the gates of heaven on April 22, 2024, as a resident of Wetumpka Health & Rehab.
No longer suffering from any earthly binds, she joined her husband of over 60 years, Doyle Wyatt, Jr., along with her brothers Billy (Adrienne) Ivey and Tommy (Beth Ivey). She leaves behind four children, Bill (Ming) Wyatt of Montgomery, Al., Mike (Debbie) Wyatt of Gulf Breeze, Fl., Kim (Mark) Rawson of Alabaster, Al and David Wyatt of Wetumpka, Al.
Jean was very active at Forest Park Baptist Church in Montgomery and later joined Eastmont Baptist Church. She worked for many years for the State of Alabama and retired from there to enjoy trips with Doyle in their motorhome. Her legacy continues with her 12 grandchildren and 25 great- grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held at Alabama Heritage in Montgomery on Sunday, April 28. Visitation begins at 10:00am with graveside services to follow at 11:00am. Dr. Mark Wyatt officiating.
