Louise Armstrong

Louise Armstrong, born on April 21, 1921, passed away peacefully at the age of 103. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Clyve Armstrong; her children, Bobby Dee Armstrong and Ferris Lee Armstrong; her parents, Aubra Lee Boswell and Nannie Bell Spann Boswell; and her siblings, Aubra Junal Boswell and Robert Lee Boswell.

Louise is survived by her daughter, Nancy Carolyn Armstrong Quintana; her son in law, Morgan Lee Quintana; her grandchildren, Gary Lynn Revis Jr. and Carolyn Shayne Revis Smith; and her great-grandchildren, Zakkary Stephan Smith, Madison Taylor Boswell Smith, and Isabella Grace Smith Chino. She will also be fondly remembered by extended family members and friends who cherished her presence in their lives.

For 35 years, Louise worked as a sewing machine operator at Russell Mills Corporation in Montgomery. Her dedication to her work was matched only by the love she poured into her roles as a wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. Louise’s warmth and kindness left an indelible mark on all who knew her.

Her legacy lives on through the generations of family she nurtured with care and devotion. May her memory bring comfort to those who loved her.

A friends and family visitation for Louise will be held Monday, December 23, 2024 at 10:00 AM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Following the friends and family visitation will be a graveside service at 2:30 PM at Pleasant Home Baptist Church Cemetery, 81 Pleasant Home Rd, Brantley, AL.
