Lee Irvin Morris

Lee Irvin Morris, age 76, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 27, 2023, in Montgomery, Alabama. Lee was born in Birmingham, Alabama and grew up in Memphis, Tennessee. He served in the Navy from 1965 to 1969. During his time in the Navy, Lee met the love of his life, Sharon Clark, on a blind date and they married in 1969. They were happily married for 40 years until Sharon’s passing in 2009. They lived in Montgomery where Lee worked in the asphalt paving business for 50 years. In 1978 the Lord saved Lee and Sharon and they became followers of Christ, joining First Presbyterian Church in Montgomery, where they remained until their passing. Lee was known as a kind and quiet man who loved hearing and telling jokes. Lee is survived by his daughter, Linda, who will always be grateful to have been blessed with such a loving, kind, and patient father. He will be greatly missed. Graveside services will be Saturday, May 6, 2023 at 11:00 am at Greenwood Cemetery with Rev. Reed DePace officiating. Immediately after the graveside service the family would like to invite everyone to join them for a reception at The First Presbyterian Church Of Montgomery, 5 Arden Rd Montgomery AL, 36106.
