Larry Neal Chambers

Larry Chambers was born in Montgomery, Al and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. He went to college and graduated from Troy University with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration. He then joined the Air Force, serving for 4 years as an aircraft mechanic. After the military, he went to work for the State of Alabama as an investigator for Welfare Fraud in the Attorney General's office and retired in 2008 after 36 years of service.

He became a Christian at age 19 and joined Highland Gardens Baptist Church in 1962. He then later was led by the Lord to join Eastern Hills Baptist Church in 2000.

Larry is survived by his wife, Patricia Chambers, married 46 years, his daughters Samantha Chanthaxoth and Kathy Chambers, two granddaughters, Sonya and Jennifer Sibert.

In lieu of flowers the family has asked donations be made to the Benevolent fund or music dept of Eastern Hills Baptist Church.
