Kevin was born in 1985 in Milton, FL and has always enjoyed a good beach trip vacation! He graduated from Alabama Christian Academy in Montgomery, AL in 2004. From there he went on to march in the Million Dollar Band at the University of Alabama as a tuba player. Kevin earned his Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies from Amridge University and his Master of Education from AUM. He achieved certification including special education and technology and sponsored numerous clubs.
Kevin will be greatly missed by his precious son, Benjamin Andrew Temple, Ben’s mother, Katie Temple, his parents, Mitch and Rhonda Temple, his sister, Hannah Jerles (Matt), niece Laeana Jerles, grandparents, Ken and Johnnie Gardner and Annette Temple, several aunts and uncles, all of whom he loved dearly.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Winston Temple and his beloved little brother, Benjamin Temple.
Kevin was known for his big heart and jovial personality and leaves behind a host of wonderful friends.
Kevin always felt the call to work with children in some capacity and this he did very well. He was in his 8th year of teaching and was currently teaching 8th grade history at Millbrook Middle School in Millbrook, AL. Kevin loved his students, and they loved him. He often helped students who were in need from his own resources.
A friends and family visitation for Kevin will be held Thursday, October 10, 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home & Cemetery, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, Alabama 36117, followed by a celebration of life memorial service at 6:00 PM.
