AUVIL, Jimmy Dean, 62, a Montgomery resident, died Wednesday, August 29, 2012. His Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 1, 2012, from 2-3 PM at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, with his Funeral Service at 3 PM in the Chapel. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery, with Dr. Lawrence Phipps officiating. Survivors include his wife, Susan Brannon Auvil; his son, Jeremy Auvil (Jenny); his daughter, Katie Claire Auvil; two grandsons, James & John Auvil; his mother, Vania Peacock; sisters, Tillie & Debbie, and brother, Rennie. Jimmy was a Gideon, an avid golfer, a staunch Alabama football fan, and very passionate about his faith in Jesus Christ. He had spent over 35 years in life insurance/financial planning services. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Phillip Cameron Ministries or Shepherd’s Staff Ministries.
